Brandon, the reason why there is so much focus on this cancer is because people made it so. The foundation put sweat and tears into making it a big cause. Komen is one of the reasons why breast cancer no longer has a high mortality rate. Because they made it big to be educated on the subject. It's the reason why my mum found her cancer at an early stage I through mammograms and the reason why I'll be getting mammograms starting at age 30. So take your ignorance and go f yourself.

I was really disappointed to see a meter maid having a field day giving out tickets to cars parked along the race way. I thought meters were turned off on Saturdays, and even if they were not give us a break. We are tryng to do something good and some people go out of their way to punish us. Great community realtions SAPD.

Brandon, get a grip. Go to the Susan B. Komen web site to see where the money goes. The American Cancer Society is also a great organization, you can see where their money goes as well. I support both, as a cancer survivor! Most of the money goes to cancer research. It takes a certain amount to run these programs as well, but if you think someone is getting rich off of this you are sadly mistaken. People are SURVIVING Cancer these days and it is because of these programs. If you want to get down on someone/something get down on PETA or some other crazy org that passes itself off as a good organization.

How do we know where all this money is going to? Why is there so much attention focused on only women's cancer? There are other cancers. Another thing that the press covers as a good deed, but it isn't a good deed.
