Hey guys! My name is Sister Sam, and I’m a 7-year-old female Border Collie mix. I have a gorgeous rust colored coat with a bit of white on my face and adorable pointed ears. I’m pretty cute.

I was transferred to the shelter recently and hope to meet my new family soon. Everyone always says that I’m super sweet, affectionate and very gentle. Receiving attention from my loved ones is really important to me. I’m definitely the kind of lady who likes to stay close to my family and am always ready for a nice back scratch.

I know how to sit on command, walk well on a leash and get along great with others like me. Since I am a bit older, I’m not as active as I used to be but do still enjoy having a fun time. I would love a calm mannered family who will always be loving and very affectionate. I hope to meet you soon at the Humane Society of San Antonio! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Adoption fees for Dogs:

25 pounds & under - $125
26 pounds & over - $89

This adoption fee includes: spay/neuter surgery, the first set of vaccinations, microchip, collar, tag, the dog’s first wellness exam at any one of the participating VCA animal hospitals within the first 5 days after adoption, and one month free pet health insurance. In addition, you will also receive a free bag of Science Diet dog food to get you started.
