Hi there everybody! My name is Charles, and I’m a delightful 1-year-old male Dachshund and Terrier mix. I was recently transferred to the shelter and am patiently waiting for a caring family to sweep me off my paws. As soon as you meet me, you’ll just want to run your fingers through my soft reddish brown coat. I will gladly welcome this! I also have striking golden tan markings on my face, chest, and feet. My eyes are a light brown or hazel - a perfect complement to my fluffy fur. My erect ears are quite adorable! One seems to always fold over just at the tip.
 
You’ll be happy to know that I’m every bit as charming and friendly as I look! I am very affectionate and playful, and love making new friends. Because I’m still a young man, I adore running around, fetching toys and going out with my family for daily walks. I would love for you to teach me new commands and tricks. Will you? Adoption fees for Dogs:

25 pounds & under - $125
26 pounds & over - $89

This adoption fee includes: spay/neuter surgery, the first set of vaccinations, microchip, collar, tag, the dog’s first wellness exam at any one of the participating VCA animal hospitals within the first 5 days after adoption, and one month free pet health insurance. In addition, you will also receive a free bag of Science Diet dog food to get you started.
