SAN ANTONIO - A couple in Schertz is initiating grand gestures to find a pint-sized pet.

On December 14 a six-pound Chihuahua named Brutal went missing in the Eden neighborhood near the intersection of Thousand Oaks and Wetmore. Brutal's owners, David Lee and Alyson, wrote to News 4 WOAI, asking for help after a tireless search. They spent $200 on a pet amber alert, have searched every shelter in a 50-mile radius, posted pictures on lost-pet websites and set up a Facebook page to find Brutal.

Brutal had his black, spiked collar on, but no tags. He has an extra tooth on his lower jaw that sometimes snags his lip. His tail curves up and to the left. He also sometimes pees with both back legs in the air.

So far they have no leads and are asking for help. They are offering $300 for information leading to his return. If you have information on Brutal, contact the owners through the Brutal Facebook page by clicking here http://www.facebook.com/BringBrutalBack. Or you can call or text (210)289-1861 or (512)216-1035.

I am so sorry for what this family must be going through. I have a 12 year old chihuahua and he is my son with a fur coat! Everyone considers my Bruno family. My husband has a four year old chihuahua and its the same thing, Barney is a family member with a fur coat! My thoughts and prayers for the return of Brutal to its family. May God keep him warm where ever he is. Those little ones get so cold. I hope and pray that Brutal will start the New-Year re-united with his family!

Brutal is from Schertz. He was staying in San Antonio in Eden off Thousand Oaks and Wetmore when he went missing. By now he could have made it to Schertz.
