SAN ANTONIO -- Veteran's Day is just around the corner, and Animal Care Services is sending out a big thank you to our community's military personnel with an adoption event just for the men and women of our armed forces.

During the week of November 5th - November 11th, "Mutts for the Military" will offer special adoption prices just for our local military.

All active duty, retired and reserve military with an I.D. can adopt

• A dog or puppy for just $25
• A cat or kitten for just $10

All ACS pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, licensed and microchipped.

Every adopter receives a bag of premium food for their new pet as well as two free tickets to Sea World.

ACS will be closed Monday, November 12th in observance of the Veteran's Day Holiday.
