Brandon Moore is a born and raised Texan. Growing up in San Antonio, Brandon has always loved sports and started playing at a young age. Keeping that love alive he began to follow all kinds of sports and quickly became the athletic encyclopedia among his family and friends.
After graduating from Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio, Brandon made his journey to Lubbock, Texas where he attended Texas Tech University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. While at Tech, Brandon participated heavily in intramurals and was involved with First Baptist Church and Kappa Chi Fraternity. In addition to his extra-curricular activities, Brandon worked for the local NBC affiliate, KCBD NewsChannel 11, as a Sports Intern.
Upon graduating, he began to work full-time for KCBD, starting as a News Photojournalist and eventually found his place in the sports office as a Sports Reporter / Photographer. In 2010, Brandon was promoted to the position of Weekend Sports Anchor where he shot, edited, produced and anchored the 6 & 10 pm sportscasts every Saturday and Sunday.
In 2012 Brandon decided that it was finally time to head back to his roots and accepted a position with News 4 WOAI in San Antonio, Texas. Brandon is currently a News Photojournalist but looks forward to the day that he will be back covering sports. In the meantime, Brandon assists in the Friday night football coverage and welcomes any opportunity to cover a sporting event.
Brandon is married to his high school sweetheart, Michelle, and they have two dogs, Murphy and Paisley. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, playing club sports, and training for triathlons. Brandon is officially a Half Ironman and is actively pursuing the title of Ironman.
