Native to San Antonio, Mason Smith joined News 4 WOAI as a Photojournalist in July 2010. He returns to his hometown after working for KXXV News Channel 25 in Waco. While at KXXV, he covered many stories throughout Central Texas including: tornadoes, Big XII Football, and the nationally followed Fort Hood Shooting.
Mason is a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2005. While attending Texas A&M he was a Production Intern at KBTX in Bryan-College Station.
He is excited to be back in San Antonio along with his wife Blanca and their one-year old little girl.
