Luis Escamilla is the News 4 WOAI Operations Coordinator. A South Texas native, Luis has worked in television news for 17 years. Through the years Luis has covered events such as the Anthrax scare in Washington DC, presidential elections in the US and Mexico and lived through several hurricanes along with many local major stories.
Together with his operational duties Luis also reports on traffic, road conditions and breaking news for News 4 WOAI Today.
Luis and his wife have been calling San Antonio home since joining WOAI well over a decade ago. When he is not busy doing “Road Cam” reports Luis and his wife enjoy a busy family life with their daughters.
