Born and raised in the Lone Star State, News 4 WOAI Director of Photography Lalo Garcia came back to South Texas after covering news all over the country. Lalo has been on the front lines of some of our nation's largest news events such as September 11th, Anthrax scare in Washington D.C, Presidential Races, and toughed it out through several Hurricanes.
Lalo has worked at KLDO, KGNS, KVUE, TXN, News 8 Austin, USATODAY, and has freelanced for networks such as CNN, NBC, Discovery Channel and The History Channel to name a few. He is the recipient of an Emmy, NPPA and several Associated Press awards.
Originally from Laredo, Lalo now calls San Antonio home. Lalo and his wife Dora love San Antonio and they keep very busy with their sons and daughters.
