It's taken almost 10 years...but Apple has reached a new milestone.
25 billion songs have now been purchased on iTunes. "Monkey Drums" by Chase Buch had the honor of being selected as the 25th billion download. It was purchased by a customer in Germany who will receive an iTunes gift card worth more than $13,000 dollars.
The iTunes store was launched in 2003 and has 26 million songs to choose from.
