Woman sets snake on fire, burns down own house

LIBERTY EYLAU -- A fear of snakes started off a bizarre chain of events that ended in a house fire in Liberty Eylau, near Texarkana.

Police say a woman spotted a snake in her backyard, threw gasoline on it and lit it on fire. That's when the snake slithered into a brush pile, setting it on fire. The fire began spreading to the woman's house and her neighbor's home.

No one, other than the snake, was hurt.

If the snake was Republican, it would not have been on this woman's backyard. The Democratic serpent is the deceptive creature here spreading untruths about its a god given right and we owe you all the fruit.

A very cruel way to dispatch a snake which was probably a harmless one just taking care of her mice. Can't cure stupid but I am sorry she lost her house and damaged her neighbor. @catwalk0826: seems to me Democrats are the ones who want minimum wage raised for the less fortunate, want insurance for the un-insured, want safety net programs. I am proud to want those things which I do not need.

@sandan...you are mistaken...it is not a republican snake but a democrat snake. If it were a republican snake it would have given up and died to save the houses. Since it was a democrat, it was only looking out for himself and didn't care how got hurt.

Must have been a Republican Snake. Even though you may douse them with gasoline, they will use their last breath to come back and poison who ever disagrees with them. But even snakes learn?
