RUSSIA -- What would you do for love? Would you get a tattoo? How about one on your face? It happened to one woman in Russia after she let her date tattoo his name across her face just 24 hours after they had met.
The 18-year-old woman only known as "Lesya," said she met her date, Rouslan Toumaniantz, online. The pair apparently hit it off so well, Lesya allowed Rouslan to tattoo "Ruslan" across her face in 5 inch Gothic script font. The couple hasn't said why the tattoo is spelled differently than Rouslan's actual name.
"It's a symbol of our eternal devotion," Lesya wrote on her Facebook. "I'd like him to tattoo every inch of my body."
The couple is now engaged and Lesya has already taken Rouslan's last name as her own. She posted the picture of her facial tattoo on her Facebook, gaining over 140 "likes" and comments. Her friends have come to her defense, saying the tattoo is beautiful. Others have blasted the teen for her decision, claiming it's a big mistake.
This isn't the first time Rouslan's tattoos have caused controversy. He was in the news four years ago when he allegedly tattooed 56 stars on a Belgian teenager's face after she fell asleep. The allegation was eventually dropped after the teen admitted that she had made up the story, because her father would become angry about the tattoo.
