The San Antonio Parks Foundation, along with the city’s Parks and Recreation Department, produces the annual New Year’s Eve event. This free event features something for everyone including music on four stages and special entertainment areas for children and families. Celebrate San Antonio attracts approximately 250,000+ people to the downtown area. Most hotels report sellouts and local restaurants are at capacity during New Year’s Eve, thanks to the event and its popularity.
