Vaccination clinics popping up at polling stations

SAN ANTONIO -- When you hit the polls this year, you could also have a chance to get vaccinated.

The Metropolitan Health District and several private providers are setting up adult vaccination sites near four polling places on the last day of early voting, November 2. Only two shots will be offered, including one for flu and the other a combination for tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis.

Polling sites offering vaccinations include:

St. Benedict's Catholic Church (clinic will be set up in the cafeteria)
4535 Lord Road
San Antonio, TX 78220

Northside Activity Center (clinic will be set up in the parking lot)
7001 Culebra Road
San Antonio, TX 78238

Castle Hills Municipal Building (clinic will be set up in the fire station building)
209 Lemonwood Drive
Castle Hills, TX 78213

South Park Mall (clinic will be set up in the Walgreen's parking lot across Military Drive from the mall)
7019 S. Zarzamora
San Antonio, TX 78224
