Read the glassdoor.com reviews, I'll put in a quote for lazy people. "Advice to Senior Management Your company is embarrassing. At some point, the call center in Miami will have to relocate to another city because of the poor reputation you have in South Florida. If you spent the same amount of time recruiting professional employees and providing them with a safe, stable work environment as you do tweaking the commission plan, you might have yourself a real company." "If you need money for a short time great, but no long term. Do not plan on being there very long. If you have many offers from other company's in sales, go with the other company. One for the worst things I've seen happen was a gentle who quit his job thinking he has something great at Red ventures, they guy got fired after 3 weeks and guess what, he can't collect unemployment because he didn't work long enough and I'm assuming he can't go back to his other job, so he was left jobless because if Red Ventures. So please keep all this in mind before getting a job at Red Ventures." "Quality assurance is firing loads of people for mundane, bias interpretation of intent on calls-skewed rules They choose to "lay people off" that have seniority, yet continue to hire new employees (and then lower the pay for the new group)" "-Mandatory overtime -Horrible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays -Constant changes to the commission structure -Extremely strict Quality Assurance, resulting in massive cuts to your paycheck -Revolving door environment -Constant changes to product line with no additional training" THAT'S JUST SOME OF IT. IT'S A WARNING TO ANYONE WHO APPLIES.

Keep in mind that all the prior comments are hearsay or from employees who no longer work there...for a reason! I have worked in a number of different contact centers and the enviornment at Red Ventures is far and away the absolute best. Casual Dress everyday, no scheduled lunches or breaks (i.e. you can go when you want...yes you may get asked to "take one more call" but never more than that & rr breaks are approved 100% of the time on the spot), music and games on the sales floor, great comission, tons of OT available, daily-weekly-monthly contests, and huge advancement opportunity. It truely is an awesome career.

Oh yeah, and one time after she didn't close a sale, the manager took her to the corner and threatened her for not closing. what kind of job is that? also, when she started 14 people were hired on with her to "train", when she quit there were 2.

They are always seem to be hiring people. My friend worked there and she hated it. Said that her manager was verbally abusive. She came home sick every night, because she would get yelled at for not closing sales. She lost 1,000 in commission in a month because a simple mistake. After a while my friend had to quit, because of she started losing her hair. Maybe WOAI should do a story about the work ethics of this company.

http://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Red-Ventures-Reviews-E142090.htm?sort.sortType=RD&sort.ascending=false It's selling Direct tv. You get screamed at and have to wait for permission to pee. Managers are young and immature. The job is misleading. Read reviews. Don't be fooled, they take your dignity
