Car makers closed out 2012 with their best sales year in decades.
Initial results released yesterday show vehicle sales saw their biggest one-year jump in 28 years. Toyota posted a 9-percent increase in December compared to a year ago.
The Japanese automaker is reporting a sales jump of more than 26-percent for the year.
