SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Fire Department and
Institute of Texan Cultures have again partnered to carry on a classic San Antonio tradition -- Toy Day.
Toy Day is reminiscent of the 1930s San Antonio event, when children received free admission to an area theater when they brought a toy for the SAFD toy drive.

On Saturday, December 1st, children 12 and under who bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Institute of Texan Cultures for the toy drive will receive free admission.
The event will include free take-home crafts and showings of classic cartoons in the Dome Theater. There are also updates to the popular Timeless Texas Toys exhibit as well as a newly installed photo exhibit with images from the nostalgic Joske's Fantasyland displays.
The SAFD Toy Drive begins on November 24th and all fire stations (except the Airport) will be accepting toy donations.
When: Toy Day is Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
