AUSTIN -- Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott is asking for the public's help with tracking down the "Top Ten Most Wanted Child Support Evaders" in Texas.

The Attorney General's Child Support Division released the list Thursday. Combined, the parents on the list owe more than $1 million in unpaid child support.
"Parents have a moral and legal obligation to support their children," explained Attorney General Abbott. "Those who ignore their court-ordered child support obligations must be held accountable for violating the law. We urge Texans to help us locate parents who are wanted by authorities for failing to pay their child support."
Parents on the list were selected because they have the ability to take responsibility for their children but refuse to do so. If you have any information on the whereabouts of any of these child support evaders, please immediately call the toll free number
