PFLUGERVILLE, Texas -- A man in Pflugerville says he has had an interesting 48 hours since a dove flew into his house and died.

The man decided the bird shouldn't die in vain, so he cooked it up and ate it. The guy posted the entire tale on the web. The problem is, it's illegal to eat roadkill.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife decided not to pursue charges, but the man could have faced federal charges.
