More closures are scheduled for this weekend in the Loop 1604/Highway 281 Interchange project.
The Loop 1604 Westbound main lanes will be closed between Stone Oak and Bitters to remove and place asphalt surface. The closure will begin Friday at 10 PM and is scheduled to reopen Monday at 5AM or as soon as work is completed.
Alamo RMA says if you travel this route, expect delays or take an alternate route.
This weekend's work will complete surface asphalt work for Loop 1604 Westbound.
US 281 roadway closuresUS 281 Southbound right two main lanes will be closed at Donella and Bitters January 24, 2013 from 10 PM to
5 AM. Crews will work on overhead signage.
Loop 1604 roadway closuresLoop 1604 East direct connector from US 281 North will closed January 25, 2013 from 10 PM to 5 AM. Crews will paint bridges.
Loop 1604 Westbound left lane from Redland to Stone Oak will be closed daily January 26-27, 2013 from 7 AM to 7 PM. Work is to place illumination poles.
Loop 1604 Westbound main lanes will be closed from Stone Oak to Bitters January 25-28, 2013. The closure will begin Friday, January 25 at 10 PM and is scheduled to reopen Monday, January 28 at 5 AM. Work is to remove and place asphalt. All traffic will be detoured to exit Blanco and enter after Bitters. Please expect DELAY or plan another route, all traffic will be placed on frontage road.
