If you drive a Subaru, we have a consumer alert. Subaru is recalling more than 47,000 cars and SUV's with remote starters. The company says there have been reports of drivers dropping the starter keys, causing it to malfunction and have the engine start on its own.

The recall affects some Legacy and Outback cars from model years 2010 to 2013. It also affects the Impreza from 2012 to 2013, as well as the 2013 XV Crosstrek.

If you have one of the affected cars, Subaru dealers say they will replace the starter keys for free.
