rickytammy, so what you are saying is that you own a house free and clear, no mortgage, no car payment, no debt at all? You are either rich or poor and have nothing except bad credit what all you can do is pay cash. Credit card debit has now become the America way it seems; the issue now with Chase is that they changed the rules in the middle of the game. They are ONLY targeting those that they sent these low interest checks to pay on "student loans, emergency hospital bills etc" and they were supposed to be for the life of the balance. Now they are only targeting accounts with those checks. At the time, the payback on the loan was 2% of the balance and then they go and jack up the minimum payment 250%. If you do have good credit and have a mortgage, then try this one on. You are making your monthly payment and the bank sends you a notice that in 45 days you will now have to pay 250% more towards your mortgage. In essence that is what Chase is now doing. A lot of people are being hurt be the economy and have to rely on credit cards to make ends meet that were not in the past. It is not their fault that the economy went south but it is a fact of life. Now that all of this has happened, Chase for one seems to be taking advantage of the people especially after they took the bail-out from the government.

The Democrats took control in 2006, and Obama is street trash. So you voted for the imbecile rickytammy? Thanks a lot for the great change. Next on the agenda is higher energy prices and higher taxes due to health benefits being taxed. Funny I remember the imbecile saying no new taxes if you make less than $250,000. What happened there?

True Believer, the Bible says to tithe 10%, as long as you're doing that, you're okay.

Credit debt is interfering with the tithe. I counsel to remember the needs of God and put Him before the credit card companies.

the point of my original blog is... IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONEY DON'T SPEND IT.

RONALDPHUQQINGREAGAN?! How old are you 1/2 pint? ever heard of REAGANOMICS? Also, do you know what he did to the military and it's vets?

ARE YOU SERIOUS jacquelyn82? as if king george wasn't an idiot and a liar. OMGARSH. that's like the pot calling the kettle black ain't it? how many wars has OUR Pres. Obama started? How much money has been spent on the lies that king george told us in order to go to war? How much money will be continued to be spent until we are completely out of king george's war? WHERE THE PHUQQ IS BIN LADEN?! I can go on and on. I've seriously seen die hard republicans from Texas switch from being republicans to voting for Pres. Obama. But then I've seen die hard democrats not vote at all because Mrs. Clinton wasn't on the ballot. I honestly voted for Pres. Obama because I knew that McCain/Palin weren't right for this country, Mr. Huckabee wasn't on the ballot, and VP Biden had more experience than Palin should the President be disposed of. yeah you're right jacquelyn82, WAKE UP AMERICA, and when you do jacquelyn82, then come talk with me.

Look who pulled us out of our last real recession, Ronald Regan(Republican). That's exactly what it's gonna take. REPUBLICANS!!!!

jacquelyn82 - 6/30/2009 4:46 PM
And just a reminder about the recession, the DOW was around 14,000 before Obama was announced as the Primary and went downhill from there. King George did just fine with his Republican Congress for 6 of his 8 years(that's when Dems took over)

rickytammy - 6/30/2009 4:45 PM
might I point out, as I did in an earlier blog, that out of my 39 years of life, the republicans have been in office for 22 years of it, that's over 1/2 my life, not by much, but still over 1/2 of it. The quality of life has went way down too, why is that? the only thing(s) that I agree with the republicans is that, 1. abortions should not be legal, state or gov't. funded (but I believe that those who kill those who perform abortions should be jailed) 2. stem cell research
