Sirius XM radio and Comedy Central are teaming up to create a comedy channel on satellite radio.
It will showcase the television network's stable of stand up comics. The companies said Tuesday they hope to add the channel to Sirius' existing lineup of comedy channels this spring.
So far, big name Comedy Central hosts Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are not part of the effort.
