The report finds in 2011 the Eagle Ford Shale created 50,000 jobs and has a $25 billion annual impact on the state. The report did highlight some troubles, though. One of those troubles if finding enough water sources and skilled workers to keep production moving as quickly as it is now.
Jobs on the shale take home around $100,000 a year.
