SAN ANTONIO -- While parts of the East Coast are getting slammed by Hurricane Sandy, the San Antonio Red Cross geared up today to send some relief. Six volunteers and three emergency vehicles left the city today and headed out to New Jersey. More volunteers will head out this week to help those affected by the storm with food and shelter.

If you would like to donate to the Sandy relief efforts, there are various ways to help. You can make a financial donation by visiting www.redcross.org, calling 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or texting the word "REDCROSS" to 90999 to make a $10 donation. Contributions may also be sent to the local San Antonio Red Cross chapter or to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013.

I'd like to know where all the reciprocity is? Have any foreign governments stepped forward and offered to help the USA in this time of distress, the same way we offer when they have a problem in their countries? Seems like it is a one way street when it comes to this.
