TORONTO (NBC News Channel) -- California Innovations has expanded its recall of freezer gel packs.
About 880,000 gel packs are being recalled because if they become damaged, they can leak gel and pose a poisoning hazard if ingested.

The recall is an expansion of the more than 300,000 gel packs recalled in January associated with lunch boxes and food carriers.
