CONVERSE -- A t-shirt on fire was all one mother needed to see before getting her kids out of the house and calling 911. Monica Guevera said the fire started spreading through a bedroom in her Converse home around 1:30 p.m.
As she tried to put out the fire, she says her shoe caught fire. She then kicked off her shoe, grabbed her two children and ran barefoot out of the home. There were no injuries, but firefighters say the flames burned out most of the bedroom. The cause of the fire has not been determined yet.
