SAN ANTONIO -- Julian Castro has been our mayor for four years and he's hoping to be in office for a third term. Today, he officially filed his application for a spot on the May General Election ballot.
If re-elected, he says he wants to grow our workforce and bring more people and businesses into downtown. He also touched on education, saying he would continue focusing on preparing students for jobs and making San Antonio competitive against other major U.S. cities.
Election day is May 11.
