SAN ANTONIO -- A three day search for a sexual assault suspect is now over. Jonathan Porterie, 22, was arrested in San Antonio today by San Marcos Police. Porterie was arrested at his mother's home on Hosack Avenue near South Zarzamora on the South Side.
Porterie is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at the University Club Apartments in San Marcos around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Police say the victim identified Porterie by his first name.
He's expected to appear before a magistrate tomorrow for the sexual assault charge. Porterie's family members may also face charges for harboring a fugitive.
This new charge comes just weeks after Porterie was arrested for two different incidents at the apartment complex, where he was also a resident. On September 4, he was arrested for allegedly entering the apartment of a resident and making physical contact with the victim. On September 7, Porterie was charged with criminal trespass after a woman said she found him in her room, standing near her bed. Police say Porterie was released on September 14, after he posted a $45,000 bond.
