SAN ANTONIO -- Macy's has begun hiring for the holiday season.
The retailer says it plans to bring on 80,000 seasonal workers. That's up from the 78,000 people the company hired last year.
The extra workers will help to staff sales floors and store operations as well as call centers and shipping centers for online orders.
