Local food facility laying off 102 employees

SAN ANTONIO -- Mondelez Global International, which produces snacks for major brands like Nabisco and Oreo, is closing its facility off 84 Northeast Loop 410, because of new third party management.

The company estimates 102 of the 112 employees they employ in San Antonio will be laid off. The first set of layoffs start March 29 and will be complete by July 26.

Laying off food workers in SA, you gotta be kidding. As FAT as we are, I am sure there is plenty of work in the food industry in this city.
