JBSA LACKLAND, Texas -- Officials at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland have set up an abuse hotline for reporting alleged misconduct and are encouraging both current and former airmen to call if they have been harassed or raped.
On Monday, General Edward Rice Jr. sent out thousands of emails to airmen who have trained at Lackland within the past 10 years, notifying them about the 24-hour hotline. The set up of the hotline is in response to more than 40 women reporting abuse there last year.
Five instructors have been convicted since July.
The abuse hotline number 210-652-0008.
