SAN ANTONIO - He's become a YouTube sensation and could be the next Justin Bieber. News 4 WOAI's Delaine Mathieu sits down with San Antonio's Austin Mahone for his very first TV interview.
Click here to watch...He's an internet sensation! The 15-year-old's YouTube videos are getting millions of views from adoring fans all over the world. YouTube even called him the fastest growing talent this year.
If you haven't heard of Austin Mahone yet, odds are you will soon. His “Mistletoe” video has landed him over three million views and lots of comments from adoring fans.
"I started making videos with my best friend Alex in June of last year," explained Mahone.
In a little over a year he's managed to shoot to the top of YouTube's view lists.
"I can remember back in June me and Alex would get like ten views a day, and we were so excited!" remembered Mahone. "Now in like two days I have like 80,000!"
Austin is having a blast and is extremely thankful this holiday for all his fans.
"It just means a lot that you would support me and help me reach my dreams," said Mahone. "It's one of the best things that's ever happened to me. So thank you."
