SAN ANTONIO -- City leaders have now drafted a proposed ordinance for the city's boarding homes, after a deadly boarding home fire claims the lives of 4 men. There was also another boarding home fire a month later, but that one did not result in any deaths.

Two meetings were held tonight to get feedback on your concerns and the city's plans. The ordinance would affect both registration and boarding home inspections. The ordinance will go before City Council next month.

Four more community meetings are scheduled this month.

Really? It's been my experience that COSA will ask for public input, then do whatever the hell they want to do anyway.
