actually, non partisan studies show that NPR may lean to the left a little, but overall they are in the middle of the political spectrum. if they are a "lefty", then fox news is an extreme right. ive watched fox news several times and with some research, i see that some of their "facts" about certain matters are completely false.

I have a friend who was a reporter for NPR in Kosovo and also here in Texas. He woke up one day and he has a lot of interesting things to say about his former associates. They are mostly leftists, outright communists and anti "the system" types. They have a lot of meetings. A lot of them are over educated in obscure meaningless nonsense, but not all of them. They are for anything that can be called liberal, no matter what it is, and against everything this country has ever stood for or been. They hate our society, they hate the Israel, they hate the Constitution, they hate the man, they hate companies and profit and everything that makes our country work, they are against everything and for nothing but empty slogans like, "Power to the People!", "Down with Corporate Imperialism!" and any other mush you can think of. My friend was one of them. I think he is a little embarassed that he was so gullible as to become attracted to their tripe and that is why he dislikes them so much. He just grew up. He's married now with kids. The French say that a man who is not a liberal in his youth has no heart, but that a man who is a liberal in adulthood has no head.

i don agree withe punishing everybody juste becos there are locos thate kille with guns. they shoulde only make it harde to obtains thee guns for criminels, violence offendeers, dui offenderrs, an some don treads on me locos!

Not gonna work. Look at this week here in SA. How much gun violence did we have...plenty. None with assault weapons, most with handguns. Most perpetrators were not law abiding citizens.

How many people who support ridiculous gun laws paid good money to watch violent movies such as the Expendables? Did the President watch and enjoy the Expendables or some other movie that glorified gun violence? You can't talk out of both sides of your mouth.
