SAN ANTONIO -- Humana Inc., one of Texas’ largest health care companies, announced plans today to add an additional 75 positions to its workforce in San Antonio.
The move is part of an expansion of Humana’s Direct Marketing Sales (DMS) operation, a telesales call center located at 8119 Data Point in San Antonio. The call center needs Telesales Specialists to meet the demands of Medicare Open Enrollment. The Telesales Specialists will provide national enrollment support for Humana’s Medicare plans as well as individual medical and specialty-benefit products. The San Antonio telesales call center handles inquiries from across the country.
The call center is looking to hire the 75 new telesales specialists by the end of July. This will allow for new hires to have training completed before the 2013 Medicare open enrollment period, which begins Oct. 15, 2012, and runs through Dec. 7, 2012.
Humana also has ongoing needs for Registered Nurses and Clinical Case Managers in the San Antonio area. The company currently has approximately 900 associates in San Antonio.
