SAN ANTONIO -- Coach Steve Barlow of Holmes High School put his running skills to a good cause. Today, he ran 40 miles to raise $1,000 for Communities In Schools. The organization helps students stay in school by helping them obtain financial and community resources.

Barlow started his run at 8:50 a.m. and ended at 4:05 p.m., which are the same hours as a regular school day. If you would like to donate to Barlow's cause, you can drop off your donation at Holmes High School during school hours or send it directly to Communities In Schools.
