SAN ANTONIO -- Police need your help to find a driver involved in a hit and run accident.
The accident happened at East Southcross and Riverside Drive back on February 24th. Investigators said a pedestrian who was standing at a bus stop was struck by a dark blue GMC Jimmy after the driver of that SUV apparently lost control and drove over the curb. The driver then fled in the SUV, driving eastbound on East Southcross. Investigators said video cameras on a VIA bus captured images of the vehicle as the driver left the scene.
The vehicle is described as a dark blue 1995-2001 GMC Jimmy with front end damage and small dents in the hood. Police released a photo of the SUV as well as a photo of a similar vehicle.
