Louise Locker, aka "Elf Louise", has helped tens of thousands of children in San Antonio have a merry Christmas for the last 40 years. Now, she needs San Antonio's help.
On October 16th, Locker was diagnosed with breast cancer and is facing months of intensive and costly chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
So she will not have to face cancer alone, a fund has been set up to help raise money for her medical bills.
"Elf Louise has helped people in this community and asked for nothing in return. It's time to ring the bell for her," said Bruce Bugg, who established the "Help Elf Louise Locker Beat Cancer" fund and kicked it off with a $1,000 donation.
