SAN ANTONIO – The Harlandale district is the first in San Antonio to have a group called radKIDs training teachers to become instructors and eventually help empower children to fight back against strangers, bullies and so much more.
A national organization called
radKIDS visited the district Wednesday.
The group teaches kids and parents alike to recognize, avoid and – if necessary – resist crime.
"We give them the ability to make choices,” Stephen Daley with radKIDS says. “And then we actually teach them how to do the skills, including how to stop a bad guy even my size."
Daley says the
