What I want to know is, Why does the FBI have all of these ID Numbers to begin with? I can understand having a few ID Numbers from the people they may be investigating, but to have millions of ID numbers onhand to hack into personal devices by the FBI is not only questionable, but nefarious and frightening. They have no business storing these numbers in the first place.

not that that's bad. The Feds are hard working, under-paid and highly appreciated. Please don't send the black helicopters.

"They published the UDID numbers to call attention to suspicions that the FBI used the information to track citizens. Much of the personal data has been trimmed, however, with the hackers claiming to have left enough for “a significant amount of users” to search for their devices." ~All you did was play Angry Birds, now the feds know EVERYTHING about you.
