Free weddings on Valentine's Day

SAN ANTONIO -- For the 25th year in a row, the Reverend Joe Sullivan will be performing free mass weddings on the steps of the Bexar County Courthouse on Thursday.

The first Valentine's Day ceremony will be performed a minute after midnight. The reverend will also perform ceremonies at 10:00 a.m., noon, 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Couple wanting to take advantage of the free weddings must have a marriage license prior to the ceremony.

Free Church Weddings

The Brookhill Baptist Church on the Southeast Side is also offering free wedding services on Valentine's Day.

The church, the service, the flowers, the reception, and the email photos are free of charge.

You must have a marriage license to get married. Slots are limited, so call the church to schedule your ceremony. The number is 210-333-4947.
