SAN ANTONIO -- Wonderland of the Americas Mall is offering free tax preparation services provided by the AARP Foundation.
Volunteers with the AARP Foundation will prepare tax returns beginning Wednesday, February 6th and will continue each Wednesday through April 10th. The hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Appointments are not necessary and taxpayers do not have to be members of AARP or over the age 65 to take advantage of the free service.
There are some restrictions on preparing certain tax forms and very complex returns, but the AARP volunteers are certified by the IRS to prepare most of the tax forms needed by the typical taxpayer.
