SAN ANTONIO – If you have worried or even just wondered what your general health is, but haven’t had the money for a medical check up, now is your chance to do it for free.
The AARP/Walgreens Wellness Tour bus will be in the area beginning Jan. 7, 2010. It’ll be at various Walgreens throughout San Antonio (see locations/dates/times below).
These events are part of a tour that will touch 3,000 communities according to the organizers.
The medical health screenings will be available for those 18 years and older. Normally, the check up is a $140 value, but the AARP/Walgreens Wellness Tour is no cost.
Inside the 40-foot customized vehicle, you’ll get total cholesterol levels, blood pressure, bone density, glucose levels, waist circumference, and body mass index.
No appointment is necessary.
