When I fry an egg, I use Pam instead of butter to slick the pan. Like many people have said: it's unfortunate that eating healthy is so expensive. I will admit, I am a fan of turkey sandwiches and it bothers me all the preservatives that are put to keep the meat fresh. high sodium content in a lot of the foods I eat is what is going to get me... isn't there anything else they can use to preserve frozen dinners?

Soy Milk is a great alternative to dairy.

I wish healthy food was cheaper. Everytime I buy grapes I pay 5 dollars for some grapes!! The other fruit is not cheap either.

We can yell this out till we are blue but people will never change their ways because in this country we have gone to a society based on convenience and quick service rather than taking the time to enjoy what you eat. I know some people who have the swallow now taste later mentality and they could care less what they are eating so long as it is pleasing to their appetites. Plus it doesn't help that the fruits and vegetables we are supposed to eat are being showered with pesticides and created in lab settings thus are not as "healthy" as they used to be!
