SAN ANTONIO -- News 4 WOAI needs your help to gather a million pounds of food.
All that food will go to places like the Dwyer Shelter. It provides food every day for families who need a hot meal -- three times a day, seven days a week.
The food bank tells News 4 WOAI it has seen an increase in the amount of families which need the help in our area.
San Antonio food bank spokesperson Zuani Villarreal says, "It’s been a steady climb of people more and more coming to the food bank for help. They are struggling in this economic downturn, struggling to make ends meet.”
