SAN ANTONIO -- The flu season is off to its earliest start in 10 years, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Health officials say if you haven't gotten your flu vaccine yet, now is the time to do it.
Typically, spikes in the numbers of flu cases aren't seen until after Christmas. However, five states including Texas, have already had enough seasonal flu cases to officially mark the start of the season.
