Financial aid schemes target students looking for help

The Better Business Bureau is advising students and parents to be cautious when looking for cash to pay for college.

Officials with the BBB say students and their parents should be wary of websites, seminars or other schemes that promise to find scholarships, grants or financial aid packages for an upfront fee.

Some companies promise a money-back guarantee, but set so many conditions that it can be almost impossible to get a refund.
