Fewer private-sector jobs

SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio has more private sectors today than we did before the recession, and that ranks us 4th in the nation for private sector job creation.

The breakdown from the On Numbers report shows that in July there were 715,000 jobs here. Compare that to July of 2007 when there were just more than 690,000. Despite the strong job growth here, we are behind Houston, Austin and Dallas, they took the top 3 spots on the report.
