SAN ANTONIO -- Get your motor running, The extension of State Highway 130 will open earlier than expected.
Highway 130 is the toll road with an 85 miles per hour speed limit. The new stretch of Highway 130 is set to open on Wednesday, October 24th with no fees. The toll will be waived until November 11th. After that, you'll need to pay by mail or by purchasing an easy tag.
The 90-mile stretch begins in Seguin and ends in Georgetown, allowing drivers to bypass heavy traffic along Interstate 35 in Austin.
